I bring structure to complex workflows – technically grounded, process-driven and hands-on.
A-Z Process Engineering Zbinden is led by Yannick Swen Zbinden, Certified Technician HF (Higher Technical College) in Business Processes with a strong technical background.

My profile combines technology, processes and people. The foundation is my training as a Commercial Vehicle Automotive Mechatronics Technician (EFZ), complemented by many years of practical experience in maintenance, engineering as well as industrial and rail-related technical systems. Operational workflows are therefore familiar to me not only in theory, but from real day-to-day operations.

Today, the focus lies on the analysis, optimization and implementation of business and production processes: clear structures, reliable interfaces and solutions that are understood by employees and can be managed by leadership.

In responsible roles – including as Deputy Operations Manager – I took on tasks in quality assurance, schedule management, organization and occupational safety. Leadership, onboarding of new employees and my work as a vocational trainer complement this profile.

As KOPAS (contact person for occupational safety) at R-Technik AG in Matten, I was responsible for introducing and implementing the EKAS guideline 6508. The measures were integrated into daily operations and successfully inspected and audited by the responsible labor inspectorate.

In addition, I bring experience in technical administration: BOM maintenance, materials management, production planning as well as confident use of ERP, PLM and CRM systems are part of daily work.

Hospitality is also part of my professional background: with the Swiss hospitality license (Wirtepatent), I underline my competence in business management, customer orientation, organization and economic thinking – a strong reference especially for hospitality and service-oriented businesses.

Strong IT skills (MS Office, ERP/PLM/CRM systems) and continuous professional development – currently including Python programming – enable me to support and improve processes digitally.

My approach: No overcomplicated concepts, but solutions that are understood, accepted and implemented in daily operations. Technology with purpose. Processes with impact. Implementation with responsibility.
